Supply of facing stone for restoration work

Natural facing stone is being procured for restoration work on sites in the historic centre of Bukhara.

Items:

• 1,900 m² of light beige travertine, 30 mm thick;
• 1,100 m² of dense limestone, 40 mm thick;
• 400 m² of cornice and sill elements made to drawings;
• 60 tonnes of crushed stone of the same rock for base preparation.

The stone must come from a single extraction batch to avoid shade variation, with water absorption no higher than 4% and frost resistance of at least F50. A quality certificate and a compressive strength test report are mandatory. Cutting to the customer's dimensions is performed by the supplier, with a tolerance of no more than 1 mm. Delivery is in four batches following the works schedule, unloaded on site.
