Security services for cultural heritage sites in Samarkand

A security company is required to protect six cultural heritage sites in the historic centre of Samarkand for a period of 12 months.

Service conditions:

• 14 round-the-clock posts operating 24/7;
• a mobile response team arriving within seven minutes;
• visitor access control and hand luggage screening;
• monitoring of 96 CCTV cameras from the on-site control room;
• a monthly report on incidents and inspections.

Staff must hold private security licences, wear uniform and speak Russian and Uzbek; the two entrance posts additionally require basic English. A security activity licence and liability insurance are required. Personnel changes must be agreed with the customer ten days in advance.
